We propose a metalens for coaxial double wavelength focusing. One focusing spot is a circular solid spot, and the other focusing spot is a doughnut-shaped spot that is circling the solid spot. The designed metalens was composed of a meta-molecular nanostructured cell array. Each meta-molecular nanostructured cell was divided into four squares. Two slots with exactly the same shape, but usually with the rotation angle measured clockwise from the positive x axis, are etched into the gold film in two diagonally connected squares. Another two slots with the same shape but with the rotation angle measured counter-clockwise from the positive x axis are etched into another two diagonally connected squares in the same cell. The lasers with two different wavelengths are transformed into right-handed and left-handed circularly polarized beams, respectively. The two sets of slots with different azimuthal rotations modulated the phases of incident right-handed and left-handed circularly polarized beams independently. The numerical simulation with finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) software was carried out, and the experimental verification was also implemented. Both the experimental result and the numerical simulation agree well with the theoretical design.

Abstract
We propose two design methods of concentric multi-belt pure phase apodizer and phase modulation functions for generating two ring-shaped focuses by focusing the linearly polarized doughnut-shaped beam with a high numerical aperture objective. The phase modulation functions for odd and even belt are verified effectively by numerical simulation. The distance of the two focuses and the position of each focus can be controlled or separately adjusted by the use of liquid crystal spatial phase modulation. It could be useful in optical trapping, particle stacking, alignment and transportation.

为了适应激光工程系统中光纤激光器和光纤器件的应用,设计研制了一种基于光纤器件超短脉冲测量的自相关仪。系统中利用了11偏振无关光纤分束器、光纤准直器、光纤偏振控制器、不同分束比的光纤耦合器和光纤隔离器等光纤元器件,以及光纤接口光谱仪。重点分析了光纤干涉仪中的光纤偏振效应、倍频器件的偏振要求和光纤准直器耦合效率等因素对自相关测量的影响,并给出了相应的解决方法。实验中对一个非线性偏振旋转光纤锁模激光器的输出脉冲宽度进行了测量,证实了光纤自相关仪的可行性。研究表明光纤自相关仪具有与光纤激光系统连接方便、结构简单、轻巧等诸多优点。

The influence of thermal effect on the energy conversion efficiency of concentrating photovoltaic system for multi-junction GaInP/GaAs/Ge thin-film solar cell is analyzed experimentally. With the increment of operation temperature, the maximal energy conversion efficiency and optimal loaded resistor will be changed. Under the condition of operation temperature lower than 90℃, this influence of thermal effect is very small. However, when the operation temperature exceeds 90℃, the maximal conversion efficiency of the cells will decrease sharply, and contrarily the corresponding optimal loaded resistor will increase quickly. Then the system performance will degenerate badly and a thermal management will be necessary.

A novel scheme is proposed to transform an ultra-short optical pulse to a millimeter-wave frequency-modulated pulse by using the cascaded all-pass cavities (APCs). The envelope waveform of the generated pulse train is calculated, showing effective improvement by APC cascading. The extinction ratio is analyzed with different input pulses, different cavity re°ectivities, and di?erent cascading numbers. It is shown that the cascading does not introduce much effect on the extinction ratio. Two designs by using Gires-Tournois cavity and waveguide ring resonators are proposed to realize the cascaded APC.
